Reply: We flew to Delhi via Dubai, from Delhi we travelled by car to Vrindavan, Haridwar and Rishikesh, We returned to Delhi and then took a flight to Mumbai. You can also travel by train or bus to these destinations.

Q4. Write brief description about the destination you visit?

Reply:

Delhi – This is the capital of India and hosts all three branches of the Government of India. Delhi has a lot of history with lots of things to see and do. We visited the IndiaGate, Akshardham Temple, Lotus Templeand Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. We also did a brief tour of the Government buildings.

Vrindavan – Vrindavan is a holy town in Uttar Pradesh. Being devotees of Lord Krsna, we wanted to visit places where he spent his childhood. Here we visited the Nidhivan Forest, Prem Mandir, ISKON KrsnaBalaram Temple and the River Yamuna.

Mumbai – India’s largest city where shopping is the best! We visited Mumbai to see the great Art Deco architectural buildings, Marine Parade and Colaba Market. Q6. Is there any adventure activity that you have done on trip?

Reply: It may not seem like much of an adventure, but dipping in the Ganges River was an amazing experience – with 25-30kmph water gushing around you! It seems as though you will get swept away however, there are metal chains to hold on to!

Q7. Things you carry with yourself on trip?

Reply: Definitely carry your personal documentation – passport, visa, medical/travel insurance. I also carried many scarves; the fog/smog in Delhi can cause some discomfort so I wrapped my scarf around my mouth/face at certain parts of the day. I packed hiking sandals and sneakers as we went on many tours and did some walking. India has some of the most beautiful sights I’ve seen, so a camera is a must!

Q8. Highlight your travel experience in one paragraph about the place?

Reply: My visit to India was inspirational; I learnt a great deal from this experience – in some of the more rural parts of India, people have so little (shelter, food, clothing), yet they are so happy and content with what they have. It is definitely true that you must enjoy the simple pleasures in life and be grateful for whatever you have! I will definitely go back to explore other places in India.

Q9. Any advice or suggestion you want to give to others about this place?

Reply: I urge anyone looking for a culture-rich experience, to visit India. If you want to explore, discover or even just learn something new, book a trip to India. Let go of what you’ve heard about India and experience it for yourself – you will be blown away by this country and its wonderful people! Also, learn how to bargain before you go shopping in India!
