This hill station is in the Dehradun district in Uttarakhand, India situated in the foothills of Garhwal Himalayan Range. The distance of Mussoorie from Dehradun is just 35 km. This hill station was founded by Lying. Frederick Young  in 1825. Mussoorie has many famous tourist spots that attracts you to visit this hill station. Mussoorie is also serves as the gateway to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath make up the Chota Char Dham the most famous pilgrimage sites of Hindus.

Winters: To visit this place in winters is may not be the best time to visit because this place gets quiet chilled due to heavy snowfall. The average temperature of this place is 12 degrees C to 3 degrees C.

By Railways: To reach here by railways the nearest railway station is Dehradun Railway Station. This station is is well linked with other major cities of India. By reaching thorugh railways is the most convenient  way to reach Mussoorie which is just 35 km away from Dehradun Railway Station.
